The educational process of pupils with visual impaitment with an accent on the social skills and leisure activity

The submitted bachelor's degree thesis deals with the educational process of pupils with visual impairment while a special attention is paid to their social skills and interests. The idea of the bachelor thesis is to create an auxiliary material for parents of visually impaired preschool children who decide on the type of elementary school. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out the level of provision of interest activities for pupils with visual impairment and to point out the importance of social skills and talent development for pupils with visual impairment in school and out-of-school education. The aim of the thesis is also to find out how teachers of special primary schools and ordinary primary schools and parents of visually impaired pupils view the issue of inclusion in people with visual impairment. The thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part presents the problematics of visual impairment, it defines basic terminology, introduces conditions of the educational process of pupils with visual impairment. The theoretical part also informs about the importance of social skills and the evolution of talent of pupils with visual impairment. The last chapter of this part deals with leisure time activities.
